End of Term 3
It's been a packed term, with so many enjoyable highlights and so much learning to celebrate, including sports, performing arts, cultural events, maths week, book week, trips, PTA events, enviro activities, camp and more!
As always, it's genuinely rewarding to see the children succeed in so many contexts, and with so many examples of 'wide-eyed enthusiasm' for learning in action!
With so much activity, it's time to recharge ahead of Term 4, and I would like to acknowledge all members of our team, including our outstanding staff, parents, PTA and Board who come together to make it all happen for our tamariki.
Y5 & 6 Productions
I'd also like to once again thank all whanau members who were able to come along to enjoy the shows last week, which I know were really enjoyable for all concerned.
Making this such a memorable experience for all our performers demands a significant collective effort from the teachers and students, so I am sure you will join me in thanking our hardworking staff in Years 5 and 6. I'd also like to pass on our appreciation for our resident community artist, Clive Jepson, for once again lending his creativity and expertise to help the children with many of the props and sets used in the shows!
Term 4 Sun Safety
A reminder that school hats are a requirement next term, in line with our Sunsafe Policy, so please ensure these are part of the uniform from day one next term.
As always, it really is essential to ensure hats are clearly named as they are so easily misplaced!
See you in Term 4!
As Term 3 draws to a close, best wishes to all for an enjoyable break. We look forward to seeing the children back and ready to learn in Term 4, when you can be assured we will have many more exciting events to share.
PTA ice-blocks tomorrow to end the term, finishing at our usual time of 3pm! Please also see below for information on our upcoming Board focus group, scheduled for Term 4 - let us know if you may be able to help by adding your voice and informing our strategic direction as a school.

Thank you for your efforts collecting Yummy Apple Stickers!
Thank you for your help this year in collecting Yummy Apples Stickers. This year's total is 10 164 points! Amazing MENPS! Every sticker collected has made a difference. The collection sheets have been sent to Yummy Apples and we are waiting to find out how much Yummy Apple money we will be allocated for sports equipment. We will share this in the newsletter when this is sent to us!
If you still have sticker collection sheets at home, please bring them into the office as these sheets will be saved and counted for next year! Once again a big thank you and Ka Pai!
Thank you Grace Konrath for all your efforts coordinating the Yummy Apple Stickers for MENPS again in 2024.
