Centennial Campaign Update

Dear SVDP Community,

We are excited to share progress updates on the Centennial Campaign finances and our latest planning discussions with the Archdiocese and our general contractor, BuildGroup.

Since our "pledge blitz" began the school families, alumni, parishioners, and friends of SVDP have generously donated or pledged almost $700,000! The Centennial Campaign has now secured cash and pledges totaling over $6.5 million. This enthusiastic response has been overwhelming and shows our community’s commitment to providing for our students and parish today and into the future.

Pre-Construction planning for the Elevated Sport Court is continuing. With the support of our Construction Committee, we are working with our general contractor to take advantage of cost savings opportunities in the current construction environment. We anticipate an update in mid-November.

On October 25, leaders from the Archdiocese visited SVDP and were briefed on our campaign progress. After learning of the strong participation of school families, along with our community’s swift response to recent campaign outreach, they expressed excitement for the project and some flexibility for our fundraising timelines.

We currently have over 94% of the funds necessary to secure Archdiocesan approval and line of credit so the project can proceed. We are asking for your support to close the $450,000 gap through donations or pledges (payable over five years) so that we can start construction as soon as possible. If you have not already, now is the time to join the circle of project contributors! We will continue our outreach to all families to discuss participation, pledges, and donations.
