WILDcat Weekly February 24th

Students will be given their WILDcat day card on Tuesdays and the reward of the coupon will be given every Wednesday during the moth of February

Each month we will also invite parents by grade level to attend our Synergy Assembly.

The next synergy assembly will be March 14, 2025 at 9:00 and all parents are invited to attend.

Our next event is to be a VIP is this:

For Spring Family Night, all families that attend will get a reading kit. Mrs. Amber, our Assistant Principal, will do a presentation on what each item within the kit can be used for.

All of these items given and strategies learned will help your child to be successful readers!

Book Fair will be held at the EPE Library February 24-28, 2025. The Fair will be open 8:30-2:45 each day and we will have Family Shopping during our annual Literacy Night, on Wednesday February 26th.

We are excited to announce that we are focused on rewarding our students who make an effort to attend school daily. Each class has an attendance poster outside of their classrooms. Each time the class has perfect attendance, they will fill in a letter on their attendance poster. When they have filled in all the letters in the word attend, every child in the class gets a free dress day! After the free dress day is awarded, the class will start over and attempt to get the reward again! You will get a parent letter if your child earns the reward.

VPSB guidelines must still be followed.

Please encourage your child to work hard and be present daily!

Our daily attendance for the 2nd 9 weeks was 89.97%. Our goal as a school is 92%. 117 students or 29% have been chronically absent in the 1st semester at EPE. Please help us get our students to school to improve our numbers.

When packing your child's lunches, please be sure that it is a peanut free lunch. This includes peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, peanut butter crackers, etc. Thank you for your help with this.

We are so excited to announce our car raffle fundraiser! If students sell the following tickets, the corresponding prizes will be rewarded on predetermined school wide dates. Please help us to raise money for our school!

• 3/31/25: Snack Shack coupon for a free snack off of the shack cart (at a different time than recess....as we want to make it special!)
• 4/1/25 Donut party 9:00 am in the cafeteria
• 4/4/25 Movie and Popcorn party in the gym at 2:10
• 4/8/25 Sonic Drinks for students who qualify
• 4/11/25 McDonald's lunch with the principals
