Edgewood Choir Concert
The Edgewood spring choir concert will be Monday, May 19, at 7 pm and consist of 6-8th grade plus our Choir Ensemble group. Come celebrate the hard work of our choir students this year! The concert is free to attend and everyone is welcome. We hope to see you there!
Eighth Grade Visit to Irondale High School
Eighth grade students will be touring Irondale High School during the school day on Tuesday, May 20, from 9:45-11:15 am.
A Note From the Edgewood Library
Just a note that Thursday, May 22 is the last day to check out books from EW Library. ALL books are due back to the Edgewood Library on Friday, May 30. We appreciate your help in returning them on time.
Did You Know?
Brooker-Edmond VFW Post 724 Memorial Day Parade
Honor our veterans this Memorial Day by riding your decorated bike in the parade...no fee or registration! On Monday, May 26, come to the New Brighton City Hall parking lot (before 10 am) with your bike decorated in red, white, and blue crepe paper. Then ride your bike in the parade to St. John the Baptist Cemetary and join others in the commemorative program. For more information, please contact Henry Kaynes at hkaynes@comcast.net.

Activity Bus Routes
Regular school day buses leave Edgewood at 2:32 pm.
Activity/After-school routes leave Edgewood at 3:45 pm (Monday- Thursday).
There are two after-school/activity bus routes, buses #65 & #8. To find the location of your students' drop-off location for the after-school bus routes, click here.
Summer Activities Registration Open!
Registration for summer day camps and activities are open! Flip through the electronic catalog and register at mvpschools.org/RegisterCommunityEd.
Reduced Fees & Financial Assistance
Youth who are residing within the Mounds View Public Schools boundaries and currently qualify for educational benefits and/or free/reduced lunch may be eligible for reduced fees and partial scholarships to qualifying Enrichment & Activities programs. Financial support is provided by the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf, District Community Education Scholarship fund and other community donors. Qualifying Enrichment and Activities will have a Financial Support/Educational Benefits fee rate that is 50% of the full fee for the program. If additional support is needed, please see the call 651-621-6020 and/or click here to complete the Youth Financial Assistance Request Form.
OUR EYES ARE ON IRONDALE
KnightKrawler Robotics at State Championship
KnightKrawler will also be competing at the MSHSL Championship on Saturday, May 10, in the Gangelhoff Center at Concordia University in St. Paul. A copy of the schedule can be found here. Calling All Girl Basketball Players
Don't miss out on our exciting Youth Basketball Development Camp at Irondale High School tailored specifically for girls in grades 1st-8th!
Campers will be divided into groups by grade, skill level & friend requests.
What: This camp is a GIRLS ONLY camp. The camp will provide a learning experience FOR ALL INDIVIDUALS that increases work ethic, effort, and confidence each player has in their own game.
When: Two action-packed sessions, each lasting 90 minutes, ensuring ample time for skill-building, training and development.

Middle School Consent Form for High School Activities
Seventh & eighth grade athletes that wish to participate on a high school team will also register online. Before you begin your online registration, approval must be obtained from the middle school principal or dean, the high school activities director, and coach. In addition, signatures from both student & parent/guardian are also required. You can get a copy of the middle school consent form in the front office or print out a copy.

This month's Student Support blog will give you some insight on how to get connected and stay connected during Mental Health Awareness Month. Together we can reduce the stigma around mental health and substance use disorders.
Summer Funds for Groceries
The Summer EBT program has a new name: SUN Bucks. If your student receives Educational Benefits, you qualify for SUN Bucks! Qualifying families get a grocery benefit for each student this summer. Learn more about the SUN Bucks program here.
