Here's another shot of our band helping the football team take care of business last Friday by providing an electric atmosphere.
Congratulations to the Band Members voted for Homecoming Court!
If a band student is voted for Homecoming King OR Queen, this will be the 3rd year IN A ROW that a band student has been chosen. We're taking over! Make sure to vote!
Good luck to Evan Adamski, Spencer Brong, Isabelle Card, Asher Hickey, Grant Leto, Madison Flint, and Isabel Umeh!
Private Lessons
We have amazing instructors that come to Dakota and/or teach our students outside of the classroom. These instructors give one on one instruction to all types of musicians looking to improve, learn new techniques, grow as musicians, receive extra playing opportunities and more! If you or your student is interested in getting more information about taking private lessons, send Mr. M an email to get the conversation started!

Disney Trip 2026
Our tradition of traveling to Disney every 4 years is almost here! Our trip for Spring Break 2026 has been approved by the school and so our planning has begun! So far, some details to share are:
- We are planning to fly instead of ride a bus
- All band and color guard members can attend
- We do perform and will have mandatory rehearsals for that performance
- Its basically a week long trip
- The cost is north of 1,000 but can be fundraised! Many families have paid ZERO dollars
- We will be working with Bennett Travel
- Spring Break is March 30 - April 3
- We do not know when MAPA State Championships will be...
All other details will be announced as we continue our planning process. We hope you consider!
Instrument Repair
Instrument repairs will be sent in to A&G Central on Monday mornings. They will also be sent on Wednesday mornings to Ardis Music. If you ever need a repair done, please make sure we have it in the office before then to send it in. Repair turn around lasts about 1 week.
