Welcome to Beautycounter and Welcome to Team Well & Aware!
Congratulations on becoming a Consultant...now what?
EIGHT STEPS TO A STRONG START
2. Join Our Team Facebook Groups!
Team website run by our upline Managing Director, Heather Willison:
http://beautycounterhwteam.com/
Team Well & Aware Group:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/699215070182643/
This is a great place to ask questions and get ideas from more seasoned Consultants and other leaders on our team. We have a very useful "file" tab that has loads of resources for you!
Tip: if you have specific question, FIRST use the "search" box in the upper right corner. Enter your key word there and it will pull up all previous discussions.
3. Read through the New Consultant Training Manual that came with your starter kit. This will be a great tool for you to carry with you on the go. It will also act as a guide for you and your Mentor as you are starting out. Tip...should you lose it you can order another one Behind the Counter (BTC) as SKU 9086.
4. Get Familiar With Your Virtual Office.
(aka Behind The Counter, BTC) http://behindthecounter.beautycounter.com using your registered email address and password you selected during the consultant sign up process. Feel free to browse the different tabs and get a feel for the information that's provided BTC.
5. Order Business Supplies.
Business cards can be ordered through the "Bespoke Swag & Print Shop", which you will find on the home site after you log into BTC. You can also order other print items like labels, personalized notecards, etc (NOTE...first time users will be asked to register before placing your first order)
Business Aides (extra catalogs, tip cards, lip brushes, mini sample sets, etc).
Step 1. See what's available to buy. Log into BTC-Tools- Admin-Business Aids Lookbook and/or Business Aids Price List
Step 2. Place Your Order. BTC-Orders-Start a Personal Order-Enter SKU or item name into search box, and add to cart. Voila!
Here's what I would recommend:
9058 - Countertime Rejuvenating Tip cards

$4.00
9059 - Essentials Nourishing Tip Cards
$4.00
9087 - Opportunity Brochure - 10 pk

9081 - Intro to Beautycounter tri-fold - 50 pk
$7.00
9500 - 10 pack of Beautycounter zipper pouches $60
7148 - 3 pack of Beautycounter pouches $20
(great deal - I think these are an "older" brand version but are still fabulous, also a fun gift or give away :) but I use for loaner kits
9523 Sample jars
$6.00 for 10pk
*you can find them cheaper on Amazon along with spatulas
9093 - Host Program Brochure (10 pk) July 2018
8188 - Tint Skin Sample Light to Medium 5-pack
$11.00
8189 - Tint Skin Samples Medium to Deep 5-pack
$11.00
**a must, I do not keep these shades in stock, samples work great at socials for these skin tones or to mail to a potential client out of town
6. Start To Get Educated about Beautycounter
Beautycounter YouTube Channel https://www.youtube.com/user/BeautycounterHQ
Beautycounter Vimeo Channel https://vimeo.com/user22824581/videos
Weekly Consultant Newsletter comes out every Tuesday morning so be sure to check you inbox! The newsletter is full of important information! HQ will post all information about upcoming training calls too. You can also listen to archived training calls by logging into BTC -Communication-Calls
7. Reach Back Out To Your Mentor. Having consistent communication with your Mentor (particularly within your first 30 days!) will have a profound impact on your business. Don't forget to ask for help...that's why we are here :)
8. Ready-Set-Launch! Work with your Mentor to set a date ASAP for your first few socials, one on one appointments, and loaner kit drop offs. Now is the time to get into motion, connect with people about Beautycounter and generating sales! Your paycheck will thank you :) Schedule your two launch socials, your Dream Team event, and 4-6 additional socials within your first 60 days. Send out an email/share the news that you have started a Beautycounter business! Focus on filling your calendar with business building activities - socials, face kit drop offs, one-on-ones, and sharing the business opportunity.
MOST IMPORTANTLY Start sharing Beautycounter! Because we are a lot of content as a brand, it can be overwhelming to know where to begin don't wait to start talking about it!
Start with the 1-2-3-4:
1 - Craft and be able to articulate your "Why"
2 - Pick 2 statistics to memorize
3 - Pick 3 of your favorite products and get comfortable talking about them
4 - Share the 4 ways to involved: as a client, as a Band of Beauty Member, as a hostess, and of course, as a consultant.
The rest you will learn. Remember, every single consultant in this business starts out exactly where you are now. No one begins as an expert!
Incentives for a Strong Start!
Our fantastic compensation plan is our best reward, however, incentives are fun too. See below for the great Start Counting incentives you can earn during your first three months as a new consultant. There are Product Credits, Cash Bonuses (both as a new consultant AND a mentor) and exclusive Beautycounter merchandise! What a great way to start!
Check out our Dash to Director Incentive!
