Reminders & Information
October is Bullying Prevention Awareness Month
This month we will be doing several activities to help our students make good choices and be kind to each other. We will start on Monday with World Day of Bullying Prevention. We encourage all of our student to wear blue. During W.I.N. time students will be creating locker posters for the elementary schools with words of encouragement and tips on how to handle bullying.
Showcase Night & Technology Bootcamp
1st Quarter Showcase Night is October 10th, from 4:30-6:00pm! Please join us to view student projects on display and see the learning that's happening at MT. 23-24 Second Semester Honor Roll students will be recognized, as well as the Top 10 "Level Up" ticket earners for each grade so far this year.
In addition, PTA is joining with our counselors to present a short Technology Bootcamp to help parents support your students while at MT!
Lost & Found
Please have your student check lost & found for any items they may have misplaced during 1st Quarter. An assortment of water bottles can be found in the commons and the main lost & found is between the locker rooms. Students can check during the school day. Parents are welcome to look at lost & found during our Showcase Night, October 10th, or when the building is open after school hours for athletic events. Unclaimed items will be donated at the end of the Quarter - October 17th.
StuCo Dodgeball Tournament
Ready for some fun? It's dodgeball time again! Our school dodgeball tournament is after school on Thursday, October 17 from 3:10-4:30. Students, join us as a spectator, or better yet, form a team with 10-12 of your friends! Cost is $5 per participant. See Miss Cassell for a team packet or more information.
Veterans Day Recognition
Please click here to share the name of any veteran you would like us to acknowledge and/or a veteran who will be attending.

It is district policy to keep your student home until symptom free/fever free for 24 hours without medication. It will help to prevent the spread of illness.

Besides hosting an ice cream social, we will be conducting our first general meeting at 5:15pm in the Activity Center behind the library. Plan to attend if you would like an update on PTA happenings. Then at 5:30, we are partnering with the counseling team to offer a technology bootcamp for parents. Bring your child’s laptop and login information.
