From our Mount Pleasant Faculty and Staff, we wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving. Safe travels and fellowship over the holiday break. We look forward to seeing our students and families back at school on December 2.

Parents we need your support with our state and district attendance policies. Students are frequently missing the first period of each day because they are arriving to school after 9 am. Some students are arriving 30 -45 minutes late to school and missing half of their first period class. Attendance is a critical component of student learning. A student who is late or absent misses a significant amount of learning. Please work with your student to get to school every day and to be on time.

For the 2024-2025 school year, the Brandywine School District is adopting the 4 Or Less = Success school attendance campaign to promote good student attendance. Good attendance means coming to school on time and staying all day, every day, which is key to every child’s success. After all, students must be present to learn!

All visitors are required to present a state issued ID or driver's license to be scanned through our SWIPE system before entering the building. Please have your ID ready upon entrance to the main office if you have a scheduled meeting.

Parents and guardians who are picking up students from school for early dismissals are required to show identification to the main office. In addition, they must complete an early dismissal form unless a note was already dropped off by the student during the day.

All early dismissals are required to come into the building to sign out their student.
