Online Enrollment for 2024-25 School Year
Online enrollment for returning families for the 2024-25 school year is open! Confirming enrollment is required for all current District 47 students in grades K-7th. Login to ParentVue to complete online enrollment for each student attending District 47 in the 2024-25 school year before the May 6 deadline. Should you need assistance in obtaining your ParentVue login or password, please contact the Help Desk, hd@d47.org.
Food Donations - Teacher & Staff Appreciation
To show appreciation for the teachers and staff, the PTO is planning a meal or snacks each day of the week. We are asking for your assistance with providing some of those food items. If you are interested in donating food items, please utilize the signup below! Food will need to be turned into the school no later than Friday, May 3rd. Please make sure the items don't expire before 5/10/24. If you would like to make a monetary donation instead of food products, you can donate via Paypal (paypal.me/canterburyptoknights). Thank you so much for your help! We look forward to showing our appreciation for the teachers and staff with you!

Bricks of Hope LEGO Drive
Join Crystal Lake Elementary District 47 in partnership with Bricks of Hope for a LEGO® Drive! Support sick children during their hospital stays by donating NEW LEGO® sets. The Bricks of Hope charity brings joy and hope through the gift of LEGO®. Drop off your donations at the school from now until May 17th. Read more about their mission here.
Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week - May 6 - 10

STEM News and Information
- Erin's Law Follow-Up: Three times a year (winter, spring, and just before the end of the year), we complete an Erin's Law follow-up video. These videos are 1-2 minutes long and remind students about the message that was shared with them in September. All grade levels will have their final follow-up: May 6th - 10th.
- STEM Show and Tell - STEM Show and Tell will be taking place in grades K-4 during the week of May 20th. Some classes will have to be adjusted due to other end-of-the-year scheduled events. More information will be coming home soon via Seesaw and a paper flyer.
4th Grade - Decorating their 3D printed building for the City of STEMopolis
1st Grade - Sharing their shoes designed for the Arctic or Sahara.
3rd Grade using VEX materials to build a Simple Machine: Pulley.
Kindy - Working on engineering their pig houses
2nd Grade Coolers under the heat lamp for testing.
5th Grade is currently using TinkerCAD to design a 3D print prototype that solves a personal or world problem.
