COVID-19 Dashboard
District 41 has created a dashboard as a way for the public to monitor both the number of positive covid cases reported for students and staff as well as the number of people quarantined in the district due to close contact with someone who has tested positive. The dashboard will be updated every Monday by the end of the day.

Voluntary Weekly COVID-19 Testing at School for Vaccinated and Unvaccinated Sign Up Now

The screening tests will be provided and administered once a week at school through the SHIELD Illinois program at no cost to the district.
If you would like your child/ren to participate, please complete the "Voluntary Covid-19 Testing Consent Form" in Skyward. Participants will be included in testing the following week after sign up. If you have already filled out the form or do not want to participate, you do not need to take further action.

Student Data Privacy
District 41 has been exploring ways to gather usage data on the EdTech tools used in the district, and monitor student data privacy in a way that will efficiently and effectively bring the information to one place. Thanks to a partnership with LearnPlatform, District 41 is providing a tool to our staff to not only gather data to identify the usage of resources, but to identify the effectiveness and fidelity of the tools for student learning while ensuring that your child’s data privacy is maintained.
This tool comes with a few other features that the district will begin using, including a public library of resources approved for use in the district. This public library offers you a centralized location to review edtech tools approved for use and are SOPPA compliant.
To access the public library, please visit the Technology Department on the District’s website: https://www.d41.org/Domain/1158
Finally, this tool will provide our district with data to make decisions on the impact they are having on student success, which will assist our district to make more informed decisions to renew or discontinue use of particular online tools.
Thank you for your continued support of our schools and the students we serve.
