Chi-Hi Student Services Department - May/June 2024
AP Exam Update
AP students who are planning on taking an AP Test in May should read the AP Exam Update (link below) from Mr. Heidtke. This update includes information such as test dates, times and testing locations.
Seniors - Final Transcript Requests
Students who wish to have their final transcripts sent to a college should make their requests through Xello. Students who are unable to log into Xello or whose college is not listed in Xello should use the Alternate Final Transcript Request Form.
Final transcripts will be updated no later than one week following graduation. If you have questions regarding final transcripts, please email Ms. Hatfield at hatfiedn@chipfalls.org.
Diplomas To Be Mailed
Diplomas will be mailed to graduates within two weeks of graduation. Diplomas will be held for students who have outstanding fees/fines associated with their account. Fees/Fines can be paid online through Infinite Campus or n the Main Office with Ms. Roshell.

Senior Scholarship Night
In-Person: Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 6:00pm in the High School Auditorium
Online: Live Stream and a recording will be available on the CFHS Media YouTube page.
Do you want a scholarship award included in the program?
Students who have been notified they are receiving a scholarship must report the award to Student Services by Friday, May 10, 2024, for the scholarship(s) to be included in the program. Please submit a separate entry and attach a copy of the scholarship award letter using this link Scholarship Award Letter Form for each scholarship award.

Senior Recognition Awards Program
Senior students will be honored with academic, departmental, and athletic/activities awards at the Senior Recognition Awards Program on Wednesday, May 22. All Chi-Hi students will attend. The program begins at 8:30am and will be broadcast live on the CFHS Media You Tube page.
CVTC Application Workshop for Juniors and Seniors - No Application Fee
Juniors and Seniors interested in applying for CVTC can attend an application workshop on May 8th and May 15th during Prime Time. Students will receive personalized 1:1 application assistance, and best of all, the $30 application fee will be waived. Students should sign up through Responsive Scheduling.
To complete an application, students will need to bring their Chromebook and know their social security number.
Juniors - Early Graduation Application
In order to be eligible for early graduation, junior students must be able to complete all required coursework and have all necessary credits by the end of the 2nd quarter of their senior year. Early graduation is allowed following 2nd and 3rd quarters only. Any junior interested in early graduation should complete the Early Graduation Application form as soon as possible.
Credit Recovery - Summer Session
If your child failed a required class, they may be eligible for Credit Recovery. The Chippewa Falls Senior High School will be offering one session of Credit Recovery during the summer, from Monday, June 3 - Thursday, June 20. Classes will be conducted via Edgenuity online. Students are required to attend in-person at Chi-Hi from 8:00am - 10:00am each morning until coursework is complete. Courses will also be able to be worked on from home during this session.
Class offerings are limited and include English (9A/9B, 10A/10B, Contemporary Literature, and Creative Writing), Social Studies (World History A/B, US History 214/216, and Geography), Biology, and Math (Algebra and Geometry) as well as other courses. Your student's counselor can explain these options.
CFAUSD Virtual Learning Option
The Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District will once again be offering a virtual learning option for our currently attending CFAUSD families for the 2024-25 school year. You are encouraged to review the CFAUSD Virtual Learning Handbook to gain a better understanding of this program option.
The application window will be open from April 18, 2024 through May 24, 2024. To apply, please complete this application for each of your children.

Youth Apprenticeship
The Wisconsin Youth Apprenticeship program integrates school-based and work-based learning. Participants will continue taking high school or technical college courses while working as an apprentice at a participating local business. This program is open to all high school juniors and seniors with a career goal, positive attendance record, and who are on track for graduation.
Benefits to Students:
Build a resume for your career portfolio, and/or college scholarship applications
Receive paid on-the-job training while earning high school credits
Develop strong academic, technical and employability skills in a chosen career field
Earn a recognized skills certificate of occupational proficiency from the State of Wisconsin
Develop a network of contacts in your field

June 8 - ACT Sign Up Deadline Approaching
Students who would like to sign up to take the ACT test in June should sign up through act.org no later than May 3rd. Registrations will be accepted between May 4th and May 19th for an additional fee.

Honor cords for graduation are awarded based on the following GPA guides after the second quarter of the senior year:
- Gold - 4.0
- Silver - 3.9 to 3.99
- White - 3.75 to 3.89
