THE PRINCIPAL'S DESK
Dear Twin Creek Middle School Families,
As we close out the fall semester, I want to express my gratitude for your dedication and support throughout the year. Our students have achieved so much already, and witnessing their growth, determination, and accomplishments is a privilege.
As we head into the holiday season, I encourage everyone to take this time to rest, recharge, and enjoy special moments with loved ones. The break is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the successes of the semester and set goals for the year ahead.
We look forward to welcoming all of our students back on campus on Tuesday, January 7, ready to learn and continue striving for excellence. Let’s make the spring semester even more remarkable!
Wishing you and your family a joyful and peaceful holiday season.
Educationally yours,
Dr. Shelby-King
Reindeer Cookies
🎨✨ The library was alive with creativity and holiday cheer as students participated in a festive crafting challenge! They were given simple supplies—Oreo cookies, pretzels, red hots, icing, and candy eyes—and tasked with transforming them into adorable reindeer. 🦌🍪
The results were both creative and delicious! From big-eyed reindeer to ones with quirky antlers, each creation reflected the students' unique imagination. This fun activity was not just about crafting; it was about bringing joy, celebrating the season, and showcasing the incredible talent of our students.

**Remain at Home If You're Feeling Unwell**
As we prioritize the health and safety of all our students, we want to remind you of the importance of keeping your child at home if they are feeling unwell. To help you navigate when to keep your child at home and when it's safe to return to school, we’ve attached two flyers (in English and Spanish) with specific scenarios and guidelines.
Please review these materials carefully to help us maintain a safe and healthy school environment for everyone. For more information, click here to visit our Health Services website.
