Little Trojan News
Centerburg Elementary Newsletter - September 2024
From the Principal - Mr. Thompson
Please check PowerSchool often to keep informed of you child's progress in each of his/her classes. If you need help logging in to PowerSchool, please contact the school.
*Parents please send a note in the planner or to attendance.el@centerburgschools.org for any and all going home changes. After school activities have begun and we need a note if your child is staying after school. One note for the season/year of the activity is all that is necessary. We do not always get a roster of students staying after school from the advisors/coaches.*
We are having a Family Fun Night on Thursday, September 26th from 3:30-5:30pm. It will be open house style where you can pop in and do the activities that you want to do. There will be touch a truck opportunities with the Fire Department.
Title I Reading Intervention will be doing their parent informational from 5:30-6:30pm where you can come and go during that time.
The Book Fair will be open from 3:30-7:00pm
Welcome New Staff!
Hello, I'm Kim Rahde. I live in Centerburg with my husband Chip and our son Jackson. Chip and I met when we both worked at Borror Corporation and have married for almost 28 years. Our son Jackson, works for Benchmark Concrete and our daughter Alexandra works for Dell Corporation. We live on a hobby farm with 3 horses, 2 standard poodles and a barn cat.
I attended the University of Findlay where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education (K-8). After subbing for 9 years, I worked as the Title Math teacher here at Centerburge and then as a 4th grade ELA/SS teacher in Gahanna. This is my first year as a 1st grade teacher at Centerburg. I absolutely love my class and teaching first grade. I am so happy to be back because Centerburg Elementary feels like home to me.
