LASALLE CATHOLIC MIDDLE SCHOOL NEWS
7th Grade Parent Volunteers Needed!
Dear Seventh Grade Parents,
On Thursday, May 23rd, we will say farewell to our 8th graders with an evening prayer service and celebration starting at 7:00PM. Traditionally, the farewell celebration is hosted by the 7th grade parents. Each seventh grader is asked to donate between $5 and $10 to help with the cost of this celebration. We also need at least 2 parents who are willing to be our coordinators for this evening with the help of many others. There is a three-ring notebook that has a summary of previous years for the evening to make it easier for you.
Responsibilities include:
*Set up a refreshment table – tablecloth, napkins, cups, decorations, etc.
*Serve refreshments that evening
*Purchase small gifts for each eighth grader (previous years have included a prayer card and pin)
*Order cookies and punch and bring to LaSalle
*Decorate (Supplies are available at school)
*Clean up
The nice thing is that next year the parents will do the same thing for you and your student. Please be generous when volunteering your time and money.
Please sign up for everything you can and return the bottom portion of the form along with your money by Wednesday, May 1st . Once we have our coordinators, they will contact all volunteers with ways they can assist. Thank you for your willingness to volunteer for this event.
Any questions, email: tschnieders@lasallecatholiccr.org or tdetert@lasallecatholiccr.org
Please see the sign-up flyer attached below!
