Man, it was a busy, busy week. We enjoyed the week of dress up to promote getting your yearbook for this year! I know some great shots that will surely be making their way into this year's book. If you haven't yet ordered yours, there are a little over 30 left for sale, so buy yours TODAY! Thursday evening, our Falcons visited Kinder Ranch Elementary's STEAM night and represented with our art, graphic design and robotics groups having interactive booths of face painting, graphic shoe tying and robotic fun! We ended the week with our first ever PTSA Casino Night and there was lots of fun had by all. Vegas should watch out one day for some Falcons, they were wheeling and dealing and enjoying themselves. Then this weekend, our UIL Academic team took on a tough invitational meet at Boerne and came out #1!! As a team they won the meet and brought home many individual medals and ribbons from top 6 finishes! Way to go Falcons!! In the Austin Rodeo Art competition, Madz Patten's vulture sculpture was awarded Reserve Champion honors and will sell in their auction! Keep building great pieces Madz, congrats!

The next two weeks are an A-B-A-B schedule due to Friday and Monday being a student holiday. See reminder above and mark your calendars. With that said, we are also celebrating heart health month with more dress up fun, see this week's schedule to show your support.

Speaking of health, we also want to remind our falcons to cover their mouths when coughing or sneezing, wash hands regularly and never share drinks. We are seeing lots of illness going around and we do want to help limit those students from getting sick and being out of school. We have sanitized classroom desks and doorknobs again, but please help us keep our falcons healthy! If your student is out, we do encourage doctor's notes to be uploaded into Skyward or sent to school upon return and for students to make plans for tutorials to help themselves get caught up. We want them healthy first and foremost, but we also want to help them stay-up-to-date.

Is your student headed to the Department of Motor Vehicles for a driver's permit or license? If you are in need of a Verification of Enrollment (VOE) form, please email us and we will get it ready for you. Please give us a notice of at least one business day to process your request.
