FCA is hosting ‘First Wednesday’ this week at 7:45 am on Wednesday at the flag pole in front of the school office. We would like to invite students of all faiths to join us in a time of prayer for our campus and all who step foot on it. We will conclude by 8:10 am before the school day begins.

November 8 (this Friday)- 1 hour early-out schedule. Students are dismissed at 2:25 pm.

November 11- School will be closed to commemorate Veteran’s Day. For those of you who have served in our nation’s armed forces, thank you for your service and defense of our country. For those of you who have loved ones in our armed forces, or who have previously served, please express our gratitude for their service.

November 22- CHS will be on a 2 hour early-out schedule. Students will be dismissed at 12:48 pm, with lunch available from 12:48 -1:25 pm.

November 25-29- Thanksgiving break

-"Seniors! Do you want to get a head start on your financial aid application for college? Today in the Career Center, Cal SOAP will be hosting an FSA ID workshop. Please pick a period to stop by and get started on your FAFSA application. Make sure to bring your SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER and a Mobile device to access your PERSONAL email and phone number!"

-CSUB will be back on campus Wednesday November 6th for an all-day CSU Application workshop in the library. If you would like help applying for CSUB or want someone to review your CSU application, please come to the library.

-On Friday November 8th, an admission counselor will be here 2nd through 4th period from Cal State Channel Islands to give a presentation on their Campus Life & Highlights. They will also assist any students in reviewing and submitting CSU Apply Applications. Please pick a period to come to the Career Center and get expert help on your college apps.

Are you interested in becoming a Centennial High School Cheerleader? Tryouts for the 2025 Basketball and Football season teams will be held November 18th, 19th and 20th in the Cafeteria 5-7:30pm. This tryout is for all current Centennial Students. An informational meeting will be held on Monday, November 4th in the Gym at lunch.

There will be a Boys Basketball meeting at lunch on Tuesday, November 5th in the weight room.
