Freshmen Schedule Changes
Approximately 60 freshman schedules will be changing on Monday due to class consolidation. Not all freshmen will receive new schedules, but some will. Our priority was keeping students with the same teachers to minimize the disruption, and most of the affected students will see very little change. Please check your Infinite Campus to see the updated schedules.
6th Week of School = Progress Reports Due
All teachers must submit progress grades for students every six weeks of the school year. Besides helping us monitor student progress over the course of a semester, these grades are also used for athletic eligibility. Please encourage your student to turn in any/all of their missing work to ensure they have the highest grades possible on their progress report.
Friday = Minimum Day
To give teachers additional time to update their grade books, Valhalla will have a minimum bell schedule this Friday, September 20th.
Congratulations to our new students representatives
Senior Daniel David and junior Shahad Rawdhah with join Aulenda Eliya as Student Representatives serving on Valhalla's School Site Council. Thank you to all the candidates participating in this process.
First ELAC Meeting - September 25th

We meet quarterly to discuss issues that pertain to our English Learners at Valhalla. Please note: all meetings are on Zoom at 6 pm. You can access the link via our EL Website.

FAFSA Updates
The U.S. Department of Education has announced that they will do a gradual rollout of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) this year, starting with a limited release on October 1st. Unfortunately, it looks like the updated FAFSA won't be widely available to students until December 1st. We will keep you updated with more information. Please note that if you complete the 2024-2025 application currently posted, it will not cover aid for next school year. Please wait to submit until the 2025-2026 application is open.
