Autism Services fundraiser now open!

T-shirts will be distributed in April for Autism Acceptance Month and are to support our Eagles Autism Foundation Fundraiser. The t-shirt was designed and created by a class at Marbrook!

Last day to order is March 24th.

The last day of Penny Wars was Friday! Penny McNickles is so excited to see who will win!

Who will end in the lead and win an ice cream party? Winners will be announced on Monday!

Twice a year, we conduct Bus Evacuation drills for all students in grades K-5. Last week, several buses remained after arrival and students practiced boarding the bus and safely exiting through the back with staff support. All students participated and did a fantastic job! Way to go Marbrook Dolphins!

Our lost and found continues to grow larger every day. Please remind your student to check the lost and found rack/bins for their items.

We are asking you to complete this survey so that we can learn what parents and guardians think about our school. Your thoughts and opinions are very important. By completing this survey, your experiences and opinions will be included in our plans as we build on our strengths and work to make improvements. The survey will only take about 15 minutes to complete. If you have more than one child in this school, please complete the survey with one child’s experiences in mind.

This month, we celebrate Music in Our Schools Month and Youth Art Month, honoring the students, teachers, and programs that bring creativity and expression to life. From inspiring music performances to stunning art showcases, there’s so much to celebrate.

In-Kind Donations: Visit the Marbrook PTO Amazon Wish List to support supplies for the Dolphin cart and other PTO events. Checks can also be made out to Marbrook PTO and dropped off to the Main Office.

Spring is right around the corner… thank you to Ruggerio’s lawn service plus for committing to plant flowers and improve Marbrook’s curb appeal. Ruggerio’s lawn service is a local and family owned business who has generously donated their expert services to support Marbrook, so please consider them for any spring or summer projects for your home

On May 15th we will host a Multicultural Night at Marbrook.

This evening is a fun night where Marbrook families can enjoy food, crafts, performances, and dancing all while learning about different cultures.

We are looking for families to host a table showcasing their culture.

You can sign up to host a table using the form below or by returning the flyer that will be sent home this week.

Does your family have a cultural dance, song, or performance you would like to showcase on May 15th? Performances only need to be about 5-10 minutes. Do you know a performer we can reach out to? Please email Principal, Mrs. Aldas at maya.aldas@redclay.k12.de.us.

In keeping with our wellness initiatives and the district’s commitment to providing a safe learning environment for all students and students with food allergies, please do not send in food items such as cupcakes and/or cookies. Birthdays will be acknowledged during morning announcements and students will receive a sticker and a cupcake eraser from the principal.
