SRMS PTO News

August was a short month for us, but it was a great one! We met so many wonderful families at both the 'Walk the Campus' Event and at Open House. We were also able this month to raise about $678 for SRMS Student Government at our first dine-out fundraiser at Chipotle, and we had families contribute towards a super fun water bar for our staff as well. We raised just over half of the goal for our Direct Give Drive, and we are confident that we can finish that campaign strong! If you haven't donated yet and are able, please do so.

Thank you again to everyone for volunteering your time, donating things to our teacher appreciation events, and for working so hard along with PTO to make sure that our school and our special programs are supported.

9/7 - Robotics Club Game Launch - The Arizona FIRST Tech Challenge KickOff 2024. Held at Valley Christian Schools (6101 S. River Dr., Tempe, AZ) Doors open at 7:30 am followed by an information session at 8:30 am. If you or someone you know has engineering, mechanical, or electrical skills and can help, please reach out to Mrs. Kool at akool@pvschools.net.

These fundraisers allow all of us to win! Companies give portions of the sales that are generated during one of our fundraisers to a specific program, club, or event at Sunrise Middle School... and there's one night where we don't have to think of what to cook or have any dishes to do! See below for the upcoming dine-out fundraisers and what programs at SRMS they are supporting. Thank you!

On Wednesday, September 4th from 3:00-8:00 PM, Chick-fil-A is donating 20% of event sales to SRMS Robotics Club. Please note the orders must be Mobile Orders and you must click "Community Care Event" in your Chick-fil-A App for SRMS to receive the funds. Remember, this event will be held at the Chick-fil-A Paradise Valley location at Tatum and Cactus. Thank you again for your participation!

On Wednesday, September 25th from 3:00-7:00 PM, In-N-Out is donating 20% of event sales to SRMS Dance and Theatre Programs. Orders must be placed in person and you will need to show this flyer at check out for the funds to go to SRMS. Remember, this event will be held at the In-N-Out Paradise Valley location at Tatum and Cactus. Thank you again for your participation!
