Reminders for SES Parents:

SNACKS - please remember your snack and a spill proof water bottle. We will start selling snacks at the end of August and a flyer will be sent home prior to this.

HEADPHONES - Upper grades remember to send headphones to school. These were on the school supply list and used daily in class. You can also continue to send your supplies in to your teacher.

KINDER and FIRST- Remember to send a change of clothes for your student for accidents.

Cafeteria Visitors- Visitors will be allowed to eat with a student but it will be limited. You will only be allowed to eat with your child 5 times a semester. It is also great to notify your teacher in advance so we can be expecting you. Please remember no outside food unless you are eating with your child.

CAR RIDERS - Please make sure you remember you cannot turn left when exiting the car line AM or PM.. This holds up traffic. Please pull all the way up to the first cone. Parents will not exit the car. Students need to be ready to exit the car when you pull up to the school in the mornings. Please remember you cannot park at the church and walk over to the school with or for your student. If you do this, you will be directed to get back in your car and join the line. Everyone will be getting a Car Rider Procedures note sent home this week.

Thank you so much for your patience with our arrival and dismissal procedures. Things are going great and will continue to get smoother as the year progresses.

BUS RIDERS - Bus passes have been given to students for their bus driver. This green card has the bus rules on the back. Please go over these rules with your student. Eating is not permitted on the bus and students must stay in their seats. Most of our Bus delays have been ironed out and everything is going smoothly.

DISMISSAL - If transportation changes, please make sure your teacher knows how your child is getting home before 1:30. The last Checkout time will be 2:30 pm. Remember, constantly changing a students daily dismissal routine is discouraged. Consistency helps a ton.

Teachers will be using Schoology as their websites. Please see the attached pictures on how to access your child's Schoology page. The directions on how to set up your account are also attached.

MESSAGING/EMAILING your teacher - You can go through Schoology to message your teacher. However, the best way to ensure you teacher sees the email is through our website or your personal emails. Schoology messages do not always show up unless we go into schoology and look.
