MES Soaring to Success
Principal weekly update
It was so nice to see everyone at the ice cream social this past week!! Thank you to our amazing PTO for sponsoring it. Thank you to Mr. P for providing great tunes! A great time was had by all!
I want to give a shout out to our 5th graders who helped teach about our SOAR expectations to the younger grades. The 5th graders from all classes helped to remind other students about the expectations in the hall, bathrooms, cafe and gym. See below for some pictures!
Just a few reminders regarding dismissal and arrival:
- During arrival please do not park in the parking lot in front or on the side of the building. Arrival for students is ONLY via the back parking lot. We do not have enough spots for staff and parents to park and we do not want students walking in front of moving cars or buses, as this is a safety issue. Please enter the rear parking lot and follow the line. Thank you for your help with this!
- At Dismissal, please make sure once you have your child you are exiting to the parking lot. It becomes difficult for staff to dismiss other students to parents in line if everyone is remaining in front of the gym doors. Again thank you for your help with this.
Below you will see links to two special contest that MES students are invited to join. One is a brownie bake off and one is a Constitution contest.
The flyer for the PTO annual Mums sale is also below.

As a reminder, please keep in mind sensibly size water bottles. The giant ones pose issues when spilled. We have water filling stations.
For gym and recess don't forget no flip flops.
