Week of January 5th, 2024
Good Morning and Happy New Year,
It was great to have a day and a half to ease back into our routines with your students. The next two weeks of school are full weeks of learning. Many grade levels will be starting unit 3 of 4 for our ARC Literacy curriculum, so you may begin to see some different types of reading and writing topics coming home. Students in grades 3-5 will be taking their mid-year math i-Ready assessments before the end of January. And lastly, our students who speak multiple language and work with Mrs. Henri/Mrs. Litzenberg will be starting ACCESS Testing next week!
I also wanted to remind everyone that you can find important information on our school website, simply by googling "Killam Elementary School". On our website we have the weekly newsletter, some upcoming event dates, and you can access our Facebook page (even if you don't have FB) to see some fun things happening in the building. Check out the picture below for a sneak peek!
Let's have a great week,
Lindsey Fulton, Principal
