Highlights- Halloween and Parent/Teacher Conferences
Hopefully everyone is having a great start to the 2022-23 school year. There are a couple of important events coming up and I wanted to make sure everyone had the details they needed.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Thank you,
Mr. Diegel
Halloween Celebration
-Please send a costume that your child can put on by him/her self that does not include face paint or make up. We will have extra support in our younger classrooms to help out. To reduce the traffic in the building on an already busy day, parents will not be able to come put their child's costume on.
**If the weather does not allow us to walk up town, we will hold our parade inside the school. Parents and families will be welcome to line up in the cafeteria and see all of the costumes.
Parent/Teacher Conferences
Kindergarten-2nd Grade: Please call the office to sign up for a time to meet with your child's teacher.
3rd and 4th Grade: Since your child sees both teachers, you will have the opportunity to meet with both grade level teachers. A sign up will be sent out through Remind.
5th and 6th Grade: Since your child sees 4 teachers during the day, each teacher will have a table set up in the cafeteria. You do not need to set up a time, you can just go down to the cafeteria and meet with any or all teachers. This is the same format that is used at the Jr./Sr. High.
K-6th Specials Teachers: Stop in to see Mrs. Pomaville in the lab and Mr. Kiley in the gym.
Mrs. Machota (Title I)- We will be sending fall assessment data home on Friday, October 28th. As you look at these reports, if any questions come up, please bring your child's reports to Parent/Teacher Conferences and stop by the Title I room to get an explanation from Mrs. Machota.
Resource Room: Mrs. Hintz and Mrs. Hoffman will be sending out a sign up through Remind.
