Summer School Collaboration with the City of Beloit Fire Department
Our middle school students graduated from a summer camp program in collaboration with the City of Beloit Fire Department. Over the summer weeks, they experienced "on-the-job training" and learned what it takes to be a firefighter with some of our city's finest! Thank you to the City of Beloit Fire Department for making this possible.
Summer Rock Internship Program
We are #BeloitProud of our BMHS students who participated in the Rock County Internship program. Congratulations to Jakendra Gammage, Abigail Middleton, Alexander Rougvie, and Brooklyn Watkins, among 25 high school students who graduated from the program.
According to Blackhawk Technical College, "Summer Rock Internship Program is a paid, six-week earn-and-learn opportunity for high school students. Students must apply for the program and to ensure the best placement for each student, applications require a resume, a letter of recommendation, academic outlines and a career plan. Other factors, such as a student's identified career pathway and occupation of interest, were also used to match students to their worksites."
Jocelyn Olivera
Congratulations to BMHS Class of 2024 Graduate Jocelyn Olivera. Her incredible artwork was selected to be displayed at the Wisconsin Department of Instruction building. This is a fantastic recognition of her talent and hard work.
We are #BeloitProud of her!

The event will feature complimentary food, school supplies, haircuts, performances, and activities. This initiative aims to support our families and provide valuable resources.
We hope to see you on Saturday, August 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Beloit Memorial High School's Field House.
