PTO Fundraiser Information
Once again, the PTO is asking for a onetime donation to support all the activities we provide to the AGS community. Similar to the past 2 years we will not have any other fundraisers and won't be asking students to sell anything. We can't do this without your support.
The top 3 classes with donations will get a special secret prize related to the Make it and Cake it theme. Don't forget to enter your child's SRT teacher at the end of checkout.
A school wide prize from Mr. Rettenmund and Mr. Seath will be earned if we reach our $6,000 dollar goal.
Thank you for supporting the AGS community!

Free Digital Library Card
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we move forward into the school year, we have noticed that it would be helpful if your child had a library card for the Genesee District Library. This is a free resource for all who live in Genesee County, and allows students and families instant access to digital book downloads and audio books. By having a library card, students will be able to access a broader variety of books, which will give them more opportunities to find genres and authors they enjoy.
This year, the Genesee District Library is doing a pilot program with our district to help all students obtain access to digital resources. Below is a link to register your student for a digital library card. We are asking that you please take 2-3 minutes to sign your student up for a digital card so that they can obtain access to audio books and ebooks in their English class. The link closes on Tuesday, November 7, so we are asking you to sign up as soon as possible.

Thank you for helping us help your student get their hands on books they will love.

Positivity Project (P2)
Next Week's Theme: Gratitude
WHAT DOES GRATITUDE MEAN?
You are aware of and grateful for good things
that happen.
WHY DOES THIS MATTER?
Out of all 24 character strengths, gratitude
is the single best predictor of individual
well-being. Grateful people have increased
energy, empathy, happiness, and
optimism. Numerous studies have shown
that gratitude is like a muscle — the more
you practice it, the stronger it gets and the
more you’re able to reap its benefits.
“This is a wonderful day. I’ve never seen this one
before.”
