CIMS Weekly Update

Week of October 29, 2023

Important Information About This Week:

Good afternoon CIMS parents, guardians, and family members. This is Mrs. Masciotra with the weekly update.

I hope you're staying warm today! We have a busy three weeks until the November break.

All week, the Fall Book Fair will be open. We are nearing the 3rd tier of shopping goals! Each of your purchases help support student readers throughout the remainder of the year.

On Monday, it is a formal uniform day for students. This includes a button up shirt, tie or sweater vest. On Monday evening, boys basketball opens their season at CIMS at 4:45pm.

On Tuesday, the Book Fair will be open and we will hold a free spirit day for Halloween. Students can wear jeans and a holiday shirt. Hoods are not permitted and students should not be in costumes.

On Wednesday, the Book Fair remains open. All Talent Show concession orders are due on this day. They will not be available for purchase during the show. On Wednesday evening, boys basketball plays at Heaton at 4:45pm.

On Thursday, it is a $1 jeans day. Students can wear jeans for $1 and all proceeds support CIMS PTO. Throughout the day, students will attend the annual Corwin's Got Talent, Talent Show. There will be an evening performance at 6pm and three selected 8th graders (Evan, Sam, and Ben) will be performing in the All City Middle School Choir Concert at Centennial at 7pm.

We have partnered up with SRDA to Rake Up Pueblo! We're looking for students and family members to help up rake three yards on Saturday, November 18, 2023. Click here to sign up to help!

From November 1-9, we are collecting nonperishable food items for Tom & Louie's Cupboard. Items can be placed in the grade level boxes outside of the main office.

Finally, be on the lookout for some exciting spirit days, fundraisers, and a parade sign up in November! We have an exciting winter ahead of us!
