An Afternoon Celebrating Dr. Jane Goodall
Ella Basel, Thomas DeBone, Sofia Flores, and Isabelle Nagy spent a delightful Sunday afternoon commemorating Dr. Jane Goodall’s 90th birthday. They began by arranging a captivating display at the activity fair, showcasing their remarkable achievements with Balboa Gifted Magnet Roots & Shoots. As they shared their impactful endeavors spanning people, animals, and the environment, they graciously treated fellow guests to tokens of appreciation. Each guest received a symbolic marble representing the Earth, accompanied by a heartfelt prompt to pass it on as a gesture of kindness, fostering a ripple effect of goodwill. Additionally, they distributed seed packets and offered a communal birthday card for attendees to sign in honor of Jane. Following the bustling engagement with approximately 300 invited guests at the activity fair, everyone settled down to bask in Dr. Goodall’s enlightening discourse. Her captivating blend of wisdom and humor resonated deeply with the intimate gathering of roots and shoots enthusiasts. Jane's engaging Q&A session left everyone spellbound, culminating in a joyous rendition of Happy Birthday accompanied by an enchanting video presentation. The afternoon proved to be a memorable occasion, fostering meaningful connections with fellow groups and cherished moments in the company of Jane Goodall herself.

Thank you so so much! Please let me know if you have any questions.
Best,
