PowerSchool Fees and Online Payment
We'd like to formally introduce to you our new PowerSchool Fees and Online Payment option. You may have heard some talk about it as we were working our way through using it for the first time during registration this year. We are really excited to be able to offer a better way to track your students fees and the convenience of paying online. Cash, check and card will still be accepted at school offices.
You can view your student's up-to-date statement anytime you like on the PowerSchool Parent Portal. If you haven't yet, below is a link to a step-by-step walkthrough on how to create a parent portal account.
Also attached is a walkthrough of how to link your PowerSchool account to a RevTrak account so that you can make payments online.
Migrant Education families: please keep in mind that some fees are covered by the Migrant Education grant. If you ever think a fee should be covered by the grant but it is still showing an outstanding balance, please reach out to us.
Elementary Families: there are very few fees at Rae C Stedman, and as of right now you should be seeing a zero balance. However, we'd still like to invite you to create a PowerSchool login if you haven't and even link to RevTrak. That way when the time comes it'll be easy and convenient for you to view and pay your students fees.
Going forward, statements will be emailed monthly for any student with an unpaid balance. If you ever have questions about any fees or payments on your account, please reach out to our school office staff. 1-877-526-7656

MacBook Devices Must Be Turned in Daily
As a friendly reminder, middle school learners are expected to turn in their MacBooks at the end of each school. These devices are not insured to go home; if damaged at home, they will be responsible for repair costs. Our supply of devices is limited, and in the event of damage, we may be unable to provide a replacement MacBook.
Additionally, it's important to remember that these devices have applications that, if used without monitoring, could put the school at risk of not complying with CIPA (Child Internet Protection Act) guidelines.
Learners who repeatedly neglect to turn in their device at the end of the day may lose access to their MacBook and Mac system and be issued a ChromeBook instead.
