Dear Families,

Dear Parent/Guardian,

The end of the year is upon us, and we have just about three weeks left of school. Now is the time for students to focus on finishing the year strong. School ends on June 10th!

Tk-5 parents: Please reach out to your teachers if you are unsure about missing assignments.

6th-12th grade students and parents: Please take a close look at your relative grade. This the grade that a student would receive if they stopped working and received 0% for all unscored, counted activities. As a reminder, students need a final grade of at least 60% to earn credit for a course. If you are hoping to attend a UC or State school, you must earn at least a C letter grade, or the course will need to be repeated. If you need to develop a plan to pass your courses, please reach out to your content AND homeroom teachers. We are all here to support you, and we want you to succeed!!

Just a reminder, re-enrollment ends on June 1st! Please reach out to your homeroom teacher if you are having trouble completing re-enrollment through PowerSchool.

TK-5 Summer Access to Raz and IXL

Our returning TK-5 families will continue to have access to Raz Kids and IXL over the summer. We strongly encourage families to utilize this academic resource, as it will benefit your student(s). These resources will help to mitigate learning loss for students who are academically behind while, at the same time, help advance students that are on grade level or above. It is a win-win!

Peak Prep AquaSmart Live Water Safety video

While playing in the water can be fun, it can also be dangerous. The AquaSMART Live! Puppet Show presentation teaches students water and boating safety lessons that can help save lives. Below is the link to Peak Prep's custom AquaSmart Live Water Safety video.

8th Grade to High School Transition Night!

Re-enrollment

Re-enrollment via PowerSchool is officially live, and I want to take a moment to thank the families that have already completed this critical step. We have heard from about 80% of our families, and look forward to hearing from the rest of you. Please remember that current students are not automatically enrolled for the fall. We do need confirmation that you are accepting your spot in Peak Prep. Open enrollment has already begun, and if we do not hear from you by June 1st, 2021, your student will not be re-enrolled for the 21-22 school year.

With Covid-19 and traditional schooling's uncertainty, we anticipate an increase in enrollment over the next few months. With that being said, we plan on capping our enrollment to ensure we provide a consistent and academically sound program that provides flexibility, student engagement, and support! We would love for your student to continue with us.

We hope to continue to partner with you during the 2021-2022 school year at Peak Prep Pleasant Valley!
