We’ve successfully made it through the first month of school! The students had an excellent start, and September flew by without any tears. A big thank you to our PTG for providing the beautiful sign that welcomed our students back to school! We’re excited for the months ahead, filled with fun learning activities and events. It's shaping up to be a great year!

We had a successful Back to School Night on Thursday, September 12th! The evening started with a meet and greet in the gym with our SPECIALS teachers, RtI, CST, PTG, SEPAG, and Project Self Sufficiency. Parents then had the opportunity to visit their child's homeroom and meet this year's teachers. Thank you to everyone who attended—it was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and meet some of our new families.

On Thursday September 19th, the BES Board of Education recognized this year's C&C leadership team.

WELCOME BTPD NEWEST OFFICER

We are beyond thrilled to share that the Blairstown Township Police Department has a new officer – and he has four legs! Corporal Herzer asked for our students' help in naming the new K-9 Officer. There were two names to choose from: Cash or Riggs. Over the first two days, homeroom teachers collected votes, and the winning name is... Riggs!

Welcome, K-9 Officer Riggs! We look forward to your visits here at BES!

PEP RALLY & SPIRITWALK

On Friday, September, 27th BES held it's annual Pep Rally followed by the PTG Spiritwalk. The weather turned out to be perfect for a walk. It was a great event, Thank you Championship Culture and PTG!

The mission of the Blairstown Department of Recreation is to service the recreational needs of our residents and to develop a variety of programs that fit and address these needs.
