NMSHS PANTHER POST
May 17, 2024
PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE - Mr. Goodrich
Dear Nederland Middle-Senior HS Families,
Today was a jam packed day. We started off the day with the traditional Senior Breakfast, we had graduation practice, and our in-coming sixth graders were over in the afternoon from the elementary school for their introductory field day. Thanks to the sophomore class for the breakfast, and to Mary Joyce and Lori Kinczel and the 8th grade 360 leaders for helping to make the field day a success. Next up, graduation at 10:00 tomorrow morning.
Enjoy the weekend,
Gavan

Athletics are officially over for the 2023-2024 school year. Some updates for the 2024-2025 school year will come out next week.
For HS Track & Field, please join me in congratulating both Amika Begin (3200 m run) and River LeMaster (High Jump) who competed the past two days at the CHSAA Track & Field State Championships.
For MS Track & Field, special congratulations to both Tad Collins, who placed 7th in BVSD for the 1600 m run with a time of 5:24, and Nora Shurr, who placed 3rd in BVSD for the 1600 m run with a time of 6:11, and also placed 1st in the district for both the long jump and high jump.
At the beginning of each school year, we ask our Seniors who competed in High School Athletics at Nederland to come forward, have their photos taken, and be recognized with banners in the gym.
