10...9...
I can't believe we are in the single digits for our school year! Only 9 days left!
Thank you for your support, flexibility, and organization as May can get a little tricky with all of the special events! I appreciate you reading the newsletter, because your kids will be prepared for all the excitement!
Also, thank you for showing your gratitude to our staff this week. It was staff appreciation week and many parents and students went out of their way to show their love, support, and thankfulness for our teachers. They really are a special bunch!
Finally, a giant Happy Mother's Day to all of you moms out there! You have the most important job in the world. Thank you! I hope you get an extra dose of love this weekend!
Have a great weekend!
Be RED!

Teacher vs Student Challenges!
We had many highlights this week, but one of the most fun was our Teacher vs. Students Challenge. Kids all received Be RED tickets and fun minutes for their effort on the MCA tests. They put their ticket in a drawing to participate in one of 4 challenges vs. teachers.
- Floor Hockey, Lightening, Teamwork Relay, and Dodgeball
In the end, teachers prevailed in most areas...but the kids had a blast and pushed us to our limits. The best news is that nobody was injured in the process, I was worried about the adults!!
Check out some pictures below!

Yearbooks are in!
We hope to send home yearbooks on Monday or Tuesday next week. We will have a few extras in the office for sale for $15 cash before school until supplies run out.

2025-26 School Supply Opportunity
Buying school supplies in August can be a a fun process, or an overwhelming one. At Oak Crest we offer an alternative to purchasing your supplies on your own for those interested. Use the link below to access this opportunity. If you are wondering, prices are very similar to shopping in the store and supplies ordered are delivered to your child's classmate for back to school conferences.
Order Online at www.shopttkits.com. Use Account #: 23480
End of year Reminders
- Parent Pick Up the last few minutes before the end of the day is really challenging. It is our policy to have kids picked up before 2:45pm or to just do regular dismissal. Any changes in pick up plans also should be done by 2:30 and include communication directly to the office.
- iPads will be turned in and kept at school this summer. They will also be cleared of non-essential data. If your child has pictures or videos saved to their iPad they will be erased. Students can upload these items to Google Drive if they want to save essential items.
- Families should keep charging cords and bricks for continued use next year.
