๐ต Music CELEBRATION Benefit Concert ๐ต
Join us as we celebrate AHS Alumna Mia Navarro, who is now cancer-free! ๐ฆ โค๏ธ To mark this incredible milestone, we invite you to a Benefit Concert on March 19 at Marty Bโs.
Enjoy an unforgettable night of music featuring former AHS choir teacher Will Griswold as the headliner, along with special performances by AHS Alumni Matti Rose and Trillium A Cappella.
In the spirit of giving, we encourage attendees to bring a donation to support Childrenโs Health & Envelopes for Hope. Letโs come together as a community to celebrate Miaโs journey and give back to a great cause!
ASE Families / Caretakers / Friends,
The AISD weather/temperature guidelines for outdoor activities have been changed. These guidelines can be found on the AISD webpage >Departments>Health Services>Weather Guidelines for Outdoor Activities.
For students with medical needs, the school nurse will evaluate each case individually and determine whether a student should participate in outdoor recess based on their specific medical condition. This ensures that both school-wide and individual health considerations are appropriately addressed.

Dear Argyle ISD Parents & Guardians,
As we are experiencing cold and flu season across the area, we want to provide our Argyle ISD parents with some reminders regarding illness protocols.
To help control the spread and keep our students and staff healthy, we kindly ask for your cooperation in keeping your child home if they are experiencing any of the following symptoms:
- Fever 100ยฐF or higher โ Your child may return to school once they have been fever-free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication (including but not limited to Tylenol, Advil, DayQuil, and multi-symptom cold medications).
- Please do not medicate your child with fever-reducing medication and send them to school. If you need to give your child Tylenol or Motrin for a fever, they should remain home the following day.
- Vomiting or diarrhea โ Students may return after being symptom-free for at least 24 hours.
- Persistent cough or other symptoms that significantly impact their ability to participate in daily classroom activities.
- Contagious illnesses โ If diagnosed with a contagious condition (such as strep throat or pink eye), your child should remain home for at least 24 hours after starting antibiotics, as directed by a healthcare provider.
When can my child return to school?
Your child may return when:
Symptoms are improving, and they feel well enough to participate in normal activities.
Fever-free for at least 24 hours without fever-reducing medication.
At least 24 hours since the last episode of vomiting or diarrhea.
Completed at least 24 hours of antibiotic treatment if prescribed.
If your child is sent home due to fever, vomiting, or diarrhea, they must remain home for at least 24 hours before returning. If they return before the required 24-hour period, the school will call you to pick them up.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our Argyle ISD school community safe and healthy!
Respectfully,
Argyle ISD Campus Nurses

Safe Firearm Storage: What Families Need to Know
Texas law now requires school districts to provide parents and guardians with information on safe firearm storage. Proper firearm storage helps prevent accidents and unauthorized access, ensuring the safety of children and the community.
Under Texas Penal Code 46.13, it is unlawful to store, transport, or abandon an unsecured firearm where a child could access it. A person may be held legally responsible if a child gains access to a readily dischargeable firearm due to negligence.
The Keep โEm Safe Texas campaign, developed by the Texas Department of Public Safety, offers free resources on safe gun storage, including guidance on how to talk to children about firearm safety.
