A Note from Principal Sage
BMS Families,
Thank you to everyone who joined for our bowling event to help support our Teacher appreciation week! We had a great turn out! If you were unable to attend and would still like to contribute, donations are being collected through Venmo @boeckmanparentambassadors or feel free to drop off a cash or check donation in the front office addressed to BMS Parent Ambassadors.
As you might know, Minnesota will experience a partial solar eclipse on Monday, April 8 from late morning to mid-afternoon with the peak being reached at 2:02 p.m. While the weather is expected to be rainy and cloudy during this time, precaution is still needed for anyone wanting to view the solar eclipse.
Our BMS science department, has secured glasses for the entire student body. We are going to run a modified schedule and celebrate this event with lessons around it and if possible use the glasses to view it.
We appreciate your support in helping us ensure safety during this celestial event. If you would like to opt your child out of this activity, please contact the office and we will make arrangements. Learners are not required to participate.
It is going to be a great week at BMS!
Joe Sage, Principal

Attendance Line
If a student will be absent, a parent/guardian must call Boeckman Middle School’s attendance line at 651-460-1405 prior to 9:45 AM each day of the absence. We ask that parents/guardians provide the reason for the absence at the time they call. The school determines if the absence falls within the excused or unexcused parameters. If the school does not receive a call from the parent/guardian the day of the absence, the student’s absence is automatically unexcused.
