Field Flash
November 1, 2024
Dear Field Parents and Guardians,
We hope your family has had a nice week! We enjoyed celebrating Halloween earlier this week with our students. Costumes were fun and festive! Special thanks to our room parents for coordinating the class parties, too!
In other news, please remember that we have no school on Tuesday, November 5th as it is Election Day. Please also note that our picture retake day is on Wednesday, November 6th. If you'd like your child to have a re-take, they should bring their pictures back to school on that day.
Our Lost & Found is quite full! Please ask your child to take a look for any lost items. If you'd like to stop by during the week of November 18th, we'll have the Lost & Found in the main office. Over Thanksgiving, we'll donate any remaining items.
A few reminders:
- Please follow the rules of the road when driving for drop off - our school is in a neighborhood and we want to be sure we are being good neighbors with our parking and driving! We've received calls from neighbors this week who are very frustrated with blocked driveways and have alerted the Park Ridge police.
- Please remember that there is no supervision before or after school on the playground or blacktop. Children should be supervised by a grown-up.
- Please be sure you call the main office as early in the day as possible if your child is not taking the bus home.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Sincerely,
Dr. Courtney Goodman
Principal

Happy Diwali!
We'd like to wish a Happy Diwali to all who celebrate this Hindu holiday, which is a five day celebration dubbed the "festival of lights" celebrating goodness over evil.
Welcome author Jerry Pallotta!
Congratulations to our Field Featured Artists!
Our featured artists will have their artwork on display until November 27th. Stop by Triple Scoop'd to check it out! Special thanks to Mrs. Julie Voigt for her coordination!
