We Are ALL Wonderfully Made
During this pride month, GSACRD and Legal School reaffirm that it is honoured to serve students of every sexual orientation and gender. No judgment, no exceptions…just outstanding education offered with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. We are all wonderfully made!
The Legal School staff, along with GSACRD Voice, strives to honour the uniqueness of all students and create safe spaces for them to be themselves.
We love, care, and support anyone who may or may not be struggling with their mental health. We all belong, and we are all wonderfully made!
"I praise you, for I am...wonderfully made." (Psalm 139:14)
During our morning announcements and prayers this week, the students learned more about what it means to be inclusive of others and reflect on how we treat others. They also learned all about the seven ways to be inclusive of others The bulletin boards in the photo below were created by GSACRD Voice for our hallways.
Yours in education,

At Division 2, Ms. Doehring will teach Grade 4 Math/Science, Mr. Runco will teach Grade 6 Math/Science, and Mrs. Kleparchuk will teach Grade 5 Math.
We are confident that these grade configurations will not only meet the needs of our students at all grade levels but also provide them with a more personalized and effective learning experience. We remain committed to ensuring the best possible education for your children.
Farewells:
We are sad to say farewell to Mrs. Tymchuk after over a decade of teaching at Legal School and her overwhelming dedication to the Legal Titans community. Mrs. Tymchuk has accepted a Grade 1 teaching position at St. Kateri Tehawithka. After three years at Legal School, we also say goodbye to Mrs. Boudreau as she moves to Albert Lacombe, teaching Grade 5. We thank her for her service and dedication to the Titans family. Lastly, we thank Ms. Brown for teaching in Grade 2/3 over the past several months and wish her the best in her career endeavours.
Welcome:
We welcome Mrs. Dechaine, who joins us from St. Kateri Tehawithka, where she has taught Grade 3 for the last three years. Mrs. Schaeffer has been teaching at GHP for the past few months. Mr. Antal, who recently graduated with an After-Degree in Education and previously worked in Human Resources in the Public Sector, will have his first teaching job at Legal School. We are looking forward to having some new faces on the Titans Staff.
2024-2025 Registration:
There are still some outstanding registrations for the 2024-25 school year; we appreciate your cooperation in getting the school registrations. Please ensure to submit your child’s registration if you have not yet done so, as it will greatly assist us in our planning.
We thank you for your understanding and support as we make decisions to best serve the students of Legal School.
How to Teach Boundaries
Teaching your children to understand personal boundaries, respecting people’s space, and communicating their need for alone time is an invaluable skill to learn. As adults, we get to practice setting boundaries, and we understand how important setting boundaries are for our own mental health and well-being. Children, however, don’t always get the opportunity to practice in a healthy way and it is a necessary life skill for them to learn as well. Practicing setting boundaries in a safe space helps children learn self-awareness and how to respect other people’s boundaries too.
Check out this week’s craft from Big Life Journal called “I Need Space: Door Hanger Craft”. Your child can hang these door hangers on their bedroom door or any space they want to designate as their personal sanctuary when needing a break.

Farewell to Miss Carrie (Brenneis)
Our beloved day porter (custodian), Miss Carrie, had her last day at Legal School. We wish her well as she takes on a new job elsewhere and thank her for her hard work and dedication, especially during all the COVID pandemic protocols. Solemnity (Feast) of the Sacred Heart of Jesus - Friday, June 7, 2024
In 1673, Jesus appeared to Sister Margaret Mary Alacoque and revealed ways to venerate his Sacred Heart and explained his immense love for humanity, appearing with his heart visible outside his chest, on fire, and surrounded by a crown of thorns.
To this day, the image and devotion to it remain among the most popular in the Catholic Church.
Since the 19th century, Catholic Christians have also traditionally recognized June as the month of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. During this time, we call to mind Christ’s love for us, which is visible in a special way in the image of His pierced heart. We pray that our own hearts might be conformed to His, calling us to love and respect all His people.
