Ongoing Events:

• ❗UPDATE Tuesdays❗ - Choir is after school on TUESDAYS moving forward, pick up at 3:30pm.
• Wednesdays - Student bible study (5th - 8th grade) - come early to school at 7:15am and it will be in the FAB on the front porch
• 1st Friday of each month - Food Pantry is in need of - corned beef hash, spaghetti sauce, mostaccioli, spaghetti, tuna and beef helpers, tuna, canned peaches, instant oatmeal, Cheerios, microwave popcorn, peanut butter, strawberry jam, cake mixes, frosting.
• Sundays - 52 Sundays - 52 Sundays was created by the Archdiocese of Detroit to provide opportunities for families to connect weekly through the Gospel. Each week, the Gospel reading is shared, along with activities, discussion questions, information about saints, recipe, prayer, fun facts, and more!

Are you looking for a way to earn service credit hours that are on your own time?❗ Perfect for families that work full-time, want to do the majority of the work from home and need to be able to set their own hours, helping with the auction allows for this. Next Thursday and Friday the NJHS are having a bake sale. They will sell during lunch. The price for each treat is $0.50 cents and cookies are 2 for $0.50.

6TH - 8TH grade Halloween Dance on October 11th, 6pm-8:30pm at St. Mary McCormick. Permission slips are due no later than Oct. 4th. Fee is $5 per student, CASH ONLY. A permission slip will go home with each student but if you do not see one please click on the link above and print one if needed.

Our Crusaders had a great day for walking from the beach, through downtown, to Holy Cross. Thank you to everyone that arranged our walk and to all those who participated.

HOLY CROSS DRAMA CLUB 2024/25!!

The mission of the HC Drama Club is to inspire creativity, encourage

comfort speaking in front of a crowd, and most of all...to HAVE FUN!

Drama club is open to all Crusaders K-8 and we encourage anyone

interested in either onstage or backstage “parts” to come join us.

Altar server training begins October 16th. We will begin in the church at 7:40am and conclude before school Mass begins (approx 8:40am). It will not be exhaustive, but a good start. This training will be a refresher for current servers and a first training for new servers (grade 3 and up).

We have two vacancies - one is a partial vacancy. Positions on School Committee are two year terms. School Committee is an advisory group to the school principal. It is a policy developing and planning body for the school with focus on the growth and development of the school. Membership is open to parents whose children attend the school and other parishioners who support the important works of the Church. If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else, please email the school at sthimmes@holycrossonline.net.

Our Crusader Cross Country team keeps running hard and having fun in the process.

Our last meet officials are keeping us on pins and needles by making us wait for the final results. As soon as we have them, we will post them.

All volunteers must have a background check and have completed Protecting Gods Children (PGC). If you have not done so please find the background check from HERE and link to PGC below. The background check form can be turned into the office for submittal. A printed PGC certificate of completion can be turned into the school office once done.
