EMS Raider Student and Family News
July 27-August 2
This weeks rundown while MAKING GAINS
We are ready for your return to school on Monday July 29th. The first week may have some hiccups with schedules however we plan on having them fixed by the end of the week. We appreciate your patience as we get through this first week. Below are some friendly reminders:
- Please read the entire newsletter for weekly updates.
- Students must be in their school uniform.
- Due to safety concerns, every student must wear their ID every day no exceptions. ID distribution will begin on Tuesday July 30, and will continue daily until every student has an ID. Their first ID is free, and every replacement ID is $5.
- Schedule changes will begin on Monday August 5th. Counselors will be busy balancing schedules and enrolling late registration students the first week of school.
- Due to our full capacity we will not change schedules based on teacher preference.
- For safety reasons parents will not be allowed to enter the building to walk their students to class.
- Pick up your child afterschool at 4:00PM daily. The campus does not have adult supervision outside after 4:30PM.
Have a fantastic week,

ACTION REQUIRED - 2ND PERIOD ATTENDANCE
- When you hear the tone during 2nd period, please take attendance at that time. Unfortunately, we regularly have 10-15 teachers that do not do this and our attendance clerks must call out to remind teachers.
- Please make the effort to accurately take attendance for all periods. Again, there are many instances where a student absence is reflected in every class period except one in the middle of the day. Occasionally, this is a student not reporting to class but sometimes it is due to teacher error.
