Principal's Corner
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we approach the end of another wonderful school year, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued partnership and support. Your involvement in your child’s education—whether helping with homework, attending events, or simply encouraging a love of learning—has made a tremendous difference. We are so grateful for the opportunity to work with you and your students each day!
As we close out the year, there are a few important reminders to help you stay in the loop:
📌 Summer School & Camp Forms
Please be sure to turn in your Summer Camp and Summer School forms as soon as possible. These programs fill up quickly and we want to ensure your child has access to every opportunity available this summer.
📚 Library Books Due
All library books must be returned by Friday, May 2. Help us keep our library stocked and ready for next year by checking at home for any books that might still be hiding on a shelf or under the bed!
🗓️ Upcoming May Events
May is packed with exciting activities—field trips, end-of-year celebrations, award ceremonies, and more! Be sure to check your email, REMIND, or our school calendar regularly so you don’t miss a thing.
🚌 Field Trip Reminders
We love when parents join us on field trips! If you plan to chaperone, please remember:
- Younger siblings may not attend field trips.
- All chaperones must have a volunteer sticker issued through the district’s background check process.
Thank you for helping us keep our trips safe, focused, and fun for all students.
📊 CPOC Meeting – You’re Invited!
We invite you to join us for our Campus Performance Objectives Committee (CPOC) meeting on Monday, May 19, 2025, at 7:15 a.m.
This is a great opportunity to learn more about our campus performance data and the exciting plans we have for the upcoming school year. Your voice and feedback matter!
Thank you once again for being such an essential part of our Tipps community. Let’s finish strong together!
With gratitude,
Felicia Thomas
