If you're NEW to OHVA, check out these resources and info you need:
On the First Day: Log into the school system between 8 and 8:30 to see your student's Class Connect (Events) Schedule. This varies by student, but those live classes are the priority to plan the day. You should see an orientation offered, along with other live classes and lessons to do.
Who can you ask for help? Your ADVISOR is your champion for questions and support as you begin OHVA. You can also visit HELP.K12.COM to search for HOW-TO info!

Save Your Internet Bills for each Semester
Dates to sumbit your internet bills at the end of each semester:
- Sem 1: January 6 - 22, 2025
- Sem 2: May 19 – June 4, 2025

Club Sign Ups Open for All Grades!
Students may choose up to 3 clubs! Some clubs are "freebies" and don't count in the 3: Cardy Club K-5, SADD MS and HS, Young Men of Excellence 8th-HS.
Eventbrite & OHVA Events
Just a heads up for you! We use Eventbrite for you to register for events and then check you in using Eventbrite, too. You should know your student's ID# when registering.
What's the K12 ZONE?
Here's some helpful info you need to know about it:
- Students may participate in The Zone during specific times for their grade level.
- Staff are present in sessions to help moderate.
- Student interactions should follow the OHVA Student Code of Conduct found in the school handbook.

- K12 provides McAfee Web Protection on K12 -provided computers. Parents are also able to block specific websites from within their browsers. Here is a tutorial on how to block websites from the browser: Click here
- It is best to not block YouTube as many teachers use this for educational videos in classes.
- Your password is Yours, and Yours Alone. As the adult Learning Coach, you need to be the one to enter attendance and have access to answer keys.

Title IX Notice
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, 20 U.S.C.
