Book Fair is coming!
Get ready! The Scholastic Book Fair is coming our way (YAY!). Choosing their own books empowers kids and inspires them on their journey to becoming lifelong readers. AND—as always—every purchase at the Fair benefits our school.
Here’s what you need to know about the big event, which will take place in the Sato Cafeteria:
Wednesday, November 13, 3:30 PM - 7:00 PM
Thursday, November 14, 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM
Say goodbye to cash and hello to eWallet—your child’s digital payment account. Before the Fair, set up eWallet for worry-free, cash-free purchases. Anyone can contribute! Share each child’s eWallet so friends and family can add funds and give your kids more books to enjoy. You can also contribute to your teacher’s eWallet!
If you can’t make it to the Fair, then shop at our school’s Book Fair online November 11-24. All orders ship directly to your home, and shipping is free for book orders over $25. Every online purchase will also benefit our school. Visit the Book Fair homepage where you can learn more and get started with eWallet and online shopping!
Our goal is for every student to receive books from the book fair. If your family’s financial situation makes this a challenge, we would love to offer an ALL FOR BOOKS scholarship to cover the cost of 2-3 books for each of your students. Contact Mrs. Fry with the names of your Sato students to participate. No other information is collected.

This month is an opportunity to learn about the history, culture, and contributions of the inhabitants of this land. It’s a time to recognize the rich diversity of Indigenous peoples and their significant role in American history.

Sadly, our Fall session with Play.Fit.Fun ended this week, but we are happy to announce that Coach Spencer will be back with us in January. See below for some more photos and a video from his last week with the students at recess. Coach Spencer always provides fun activities for the students to try out. This week, his focus was on balance, strength and coordination. We can't wait for him to be back in January!
