Congratulations to the talented cast and crew on a successful weekend of performances of the last HHS Theatre production of the school year, "Finding Nemo, Jr." The show's run began with four shows for our SCOH elementary students, who were bussed over on Thursday and Friday and finished with two public shows on Saturday and Sunday. The dedication, hard work, and talent was evident in every scene, from the music and choreography to the acting and stage design. Kudos to everyone involved for bringing such joy and wonder to all who had the privilege of watching this spectacular show!
HHS Orchestra Students Visit Chicago Symphony!
Around 90 Hobart High School students made a trip to Chicago to hear the Chicago Symphony Orchestra on Thursday morning. Thanks to support from the Pope Family Fund, the trip didn’t cost our kids anything! THANK YOU! For many of these students, it was their first time hearing a major symphony orchestra. The kids behaved amazingly and we were so proud. What a great trip!
HHS Geometry Students Enjoy Chicago Architectural Tour!
On May 6th, 65 Hobart High School students from Mrs. Musall's Geometry and Honors Geometry classes embarked on an educational journey to Chicago. The highlight of the trip was an architectural boat tour, providing a unique perspective on geometry in action. This engaging experience allowed them to witness the practical application of geometric principles, all while soaking up Chicago's rich history. It was truly a day of learning that extended far beyond the classroom walls!
