St. Petronille Catholic School
A Note from Mr. Schmidt
What an exciting week! It was another great experience to be able to celebrate Halloween and All Saints Day as a community. The excitement throughout the building was palpable and it's wonderful to see the kids so excited. It's hard to believe, but we only have three weeks of school left before Thanksgiving Break!
Prior to that week-long vacation, we have several important events and milestones coming up:
- This Thursday, November 7 at 7:00 PM, we will have our Prospective Family Talk and Tour. We look forward to welcoming prospective new families to our school to learn more about St. Pets, see our classrooms, and get excited to apply for admission for the 2025-26 school year! If you know any potentially interested families, please forward them the flyer below and encourage them to come!
- Friday, November 8 marks the end of the first trimester of the 2024-25 school year! This is a good opportunity to check grades and missing assignments to ensure your child finishes the grading period strong. Report cards for T1 will be issued on Friday, November 15.
- The PO is hosting Coffee and Donuts after the 9:30 AM mass on November 10! This is a great opportunity to come together to worship and meet afterwards for some fellowship and fun!
- We host our annual school Veterans Day mass on Tuesday, November 12 at 9:30 AM! All veterans in our community are invited to attend and join our 7th grade students for a reception after mass with refreshments and the opportunity to talk about their service. If there is a veteran dear to you who would not be able to attend, but who you would like honored, please see the opportunity below to submit a "My Veteran" page on their behalf.
- Our parent-teacher conference day will be November 25. Invitations to sign up for conference times will be going out early next week, so please keep an eye out!
As you can see, there's a lot going on! Please reach out if you have any questions or if there is any way I can better support your family!
God bless,
Eric Schmidt

Auction Kick Off
Join us for an evening in Old Hollywood on Saturday, March 8, 2025, when we celebrate St. Petronille Catholic School and support our annual fundraising event, the Key to the Future auction.
Our school relies on annual financial support from our community to help fulfill our mission. This year’s fundraising goal is $200,000 and all proceeds go directly to the school’s operating budget, funding essential programs for curriculum enhancements, classroom and facility improvements, teacher training, professional development, student services, and tuition assistance.
We need your help to reach our goal! Please use the button below to learn more about how you can support the auction!
