Keep your chromebook cord safe over the summer!
Families, every student was asked to keep their chromebook cord at home this summer so that the year can begin smoothly when those students who elected to store their chromebook at BHS pick them up at picture day in August. Please ensure the cord is stored somewhere easy to remember, and if a student has misplaced their cord this year the best option is to purchase one online, here is one suggestion (cord must be a 45 watt USB-C charger).
In addition to cords, some students whose guardians completed the RUP process elected to also take their chromebook over the summer; if you want to know the status of your student’s chromebook (if it was taken by them or stored at school), you may email carin.barrett@tsd.org for information. Please allow 72 hours for a response.
Students: Remember that every student is required to log 20 hours of community service as a graduation requirement; don’t wait to get started! You can pick up the sheet to record your hours in the library or print at home using this link, AND YOU MUST TAKE A SHEET TO AN EVENT TO BE SIGNED BY THE SUPERVISING NONPROFIT OR AGENCY.
Please see Ms. Barrett in the library to submit completed forms or for ideas on additional service opportunities.
Start planning to earn some hours this summer!

Students under age 18 can make visits to patients in facilities, so long as they always go in pairs. There are also indirect care opportunities including making phone calls to family members and crafts. There are various onboarding requirements and trainings depending on the level of involvement ranging from 6 hours over 2 weeks to 16 hours over 5 weeks; if you are interested in these opportunities, see more explanation below and contact Christy Haeuptle at ChristinaHaeuptle@accentcare.com or 970-717-6033.
