Dear Trix Families,
We are officially in April! With less than 2 months left of school, I will include important dates for the remainder of the year at the bottom. Please look for events including Science Fair, Daddy/Daughter and Mother Son Dance, Promotion Exercises and the Last Day
Testing Season is here with state testing coming up first (M-STEP) opening this week! This is for grades 3-8. We have many scholars who are more than capable of being proficient and/or advanced. PSAT will start us off for 8th grade on April 10th!
I will be posting the days of testing each week. Please make sure that your scholar is getting plenty of rest and something to eat on the day of their test. 3rd grade, this is their first time with state testing
Here are some things you can do to prepare.
1. Review Grade level standards with your scholars.
2. Practice MSTEP questions
3. Review Test taking strategies.
The next Fun Factor Friday is now this Friday, April 11th
Report card day was April 4th. Parents/Adults may continue to pick up their reports this week.
We have a new Reading Incentive! A-Z Reading Challenge. If your child can read a book that starts with every letter of the alphabet, they will earn a prize from me!
Here are a few reminders:
Doors will open for scholars to have breakfast at 7:45. Our instructional day begins at 8:05 with our daily morning meeting.
Students are expected to be in the appropriate uniform for their grade level. If you are unsure about your scholar's uniform color, please be sure to click the link for the Family Welcome Packet below .

Parents, it's testing time(M-STEP)! Please make sure your child(ren) get plenty of rest at night to ensure that they are able to test well and do well on the test. Also, please make sure you get them to school on time and make sure they eat a good breakfast. Please encourage your child(ren) to do their best!

Dear Parents,
It’s crucial that we have your most current contact information on file, especially in case of emergencies. If you’ve recently changed your address or phone number, please inform the school as soon as possible.
We encourage you to provide an additional emergency contact number as well. Your child’s safety is our top priority, and having updated information ensures we can reach you when needed.

Important Reminder: Early Release
Please note that early release ends at 3 PM. If you arrive at this time, please contact the office, as scholars will be waiting for you.
For safety reasons, we will ask for identification. Arrivals after 3 PM may disrupt our dismissal process. If you need to arrange a pickup after this time, please call ahead.
