What an amazing school year this has been! This group of students were blessed to experience cross-graded activities, field trips and whole school gatherings! Together we learned, we explored, we pushed ourselves, we celebrated and we created a safe haven that nurtured our minds and our hearts throughout this school year.

We thank our parents for putting their trust in us to take care of their little ones and guide them along the way. It is this amazing connection and unconditional partnership that has made this year such a success and we are so grateful for your support.

We wish our Grade Six students all the best as they leave our BK nest and move on to junior high. Thank you for being our such responsible role models and the leaders of our school.

We hope all families get a chance to "re-set", to re-discover things that they have missed and to explore new adventures. Stay safe, stay healthy and stay connected to what brings you joy.

Report cards will be accessible through the PowerSchool Parent Portal at the end of June. To locate your child's report card:

1. You will need to log into the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Click HERE to connect to the PowerSchool Parent Portal.

Please bookmark this link so you can easily use the PowerSchool Parent Portal in the future.

2. Once you have logged in, there is a list of Navigation links on the left-hand side of the screen. At the bottom of the list, please click on the Report Card link to proceed to the next screen.

3. You will then be able to select the report card you wish to view as a PDF. Once you click the report card link, you also have the option to download the report card.

5. Once downloaded, you can open the file to view and Save. Please save or print off a copy of the report card for future reference.

To view your child's report card, you will need to do so using a computer (desktop or notebook) or a Chromebook – a mobile device is not supported.

If you have not created a PowerSchool Parent Portal account, please get in touch with your child's school for assistance.

Further to our district messaging, we will be running a staggered start for all classes Kindergarten to 5 next year. Students with last names beginning with A-K will attend on August 29 and students with last names starting with L-Z will attend on August 30. ALL students will attend on August 31.

We bid farewell to our "FABULOUS FIVES" at SKTA! They were our leaders in so many ways from being big buds to our youngest learners, lunch hour supervisors and playground friends - we feel so blessed to have had them in our school. We will miss you and we thank you for everything you have contributed to St. Kateri while you have been here! God bless you and we wish you the best next year! We had a wonderful day celebrating National Indigenous Peoples Day. We started our day with mass at St. Emile Parish in Legal. Our students then participated in Indigenous games and activities with their grade level partners at Legal School. We were also blessed to have stew and bannock for lunch prepared by Legal School! It was such a powerful day full of connections for our school community!

We are THRILLED to have an amazing group of parents who have volunteered to put together a yearbook to celebrate this year in our amazing school! Yearbooks can be ordered for $20.00 on Powerschool Parent Portal and will be available next Fall. We have ordered a limited number of these treasures, so order yours today!

Come get the scoop on the 2023-24 school year on August 24 from 6:30- 7:30. This is an opportunity to meet your child's teacher, drop off school supplies and connect with other families in our community. We hope to see all SKTA families there! Please come and join us to kick off the school year!
