Dear Parents and Guardians,
On behalf of the MSD 15 team, I am thrilled to welcome you and your child to the new school year! As we embark on this fresh start, I want to express my enthusiasm for the opportunities and experiences that lie ahead.
Our district is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters academic excellence, creativity, and social growth. We have been busy preparing for the new year, and I am excited to share some of the initiatives and improvements we have made:

We value our partnership with you and believe that collaboration is key to your child's success. We encourage you to stay engaged with your child's education by:

Back to School Bash Video
Thank you for attending our first annual Back to School Bash. Below is a message from Superintendent Davila.
The first day of school for 1st through 8th Grade is August 14th. The first day of school for Pre-School and Kindergarten is August 19th.
As students and teachers make their way back to schools, we want to remind our community that information has been sent from your students principal by email. This will include information specific to each building. In this newsletter, you will receive the following District-wide information:

Log in to your Parent PowerSchool Portal to confirm your have successfully registered your child.
24-25 School Start Times
MSD15 Board of Education approved and sent to information on February 13th , 2024 the change in bell times beginning with the 24-25 school year. To see the shift in Marquardt School District 15's start times, please click LINK below to access our Calendar page on our district website.
Immunization and School Physical requirements
Do you have a student entering Pre-K, Kindergarten, 2nd Grade or 6th grade? Check the health services page for requirements that must be completed prior to the start of school.
MMS Families -- If your student plans to participate in athletics, a Sports Physical will be required.
School Supplies
The District is pleased to be able to provide a majority of school supplies for each of our students. We kindly ask parents and guardians to provide the following items in support of their child's education.

Incoming Marquardt Middle School Students
First Day Orientation
As we return to school, we will plan to have the first day of school to be an orientation for all students. On this day, students will engage in team building activities, learn about lockers, understand their schedule, tour the building, and much more.
Bus Routes
All students should verify their bus routes prior to the first day of school. In some instance bus routes may change. If you have any questions or comments, please contact your child's school.
If your student rides the bus, information has been sent to parent/guardian.
Before & After School programs
PATH Before & After School (1st-8th Grade):
PATH welcomes students to spend their afternoons at the Sports Hub! Planning for the next school year? For the latest rates and to register your child, please call the Sports Hub at 630.260.6060. For more information, please visit here!
- Schools require 3 business days to be added to the school bus roster
Hours of Operation
- Open every school day (no half days offered when school is in session)
- Register early as there may be limited availability on busses.
- When in-person classes are cancelled, PATH is also cancelled.

To ensure constant communication between the District and your home, we ask that you have updated phone and email information in your PowerSchool Parent Portal. Communication will be sent through text and email. Ensuring that you have texted YES to 87569 will allow you to receive Smore e-newsletters from the District and your child's school, mass text messages and phone calls. Bilingual Parent Advisory Committee
The MSD15 Bilingual Parent Advisory Council (BPAC) will be hosting its Planning Meeting for the 24-25 school year on Thursday, September 12 at 6:00 pm at the MSD15 Administration Center (1860 Glen Ellyn Road). During this planning meeting, parents and guardians will participate in a meet-and-greet and receive information regarding the program, BPAC elections, a calendar and a general overview of the year to come. All are invited to attend, please come as you are! Childcare and refreshments will be provided.
El Consejo Asesor de Padres Bilingües (BPAC) del Distrito Escolar Marquardt 15 organizará su reunión de planificación para el año escolar 24-25 el jueves, 12 de septiembre a las 6:00 p. m. en el Centro Administrativo (1860 Glen Ellyn Road). Durante esta reunión de planificación, los padres y tutores participarán en una reunión y recibirán información sobre el programa, las elecciones de BPAC, un calendario y una descripción general del próximo año. ¡Todos están invitados a asistir, por favor vengan! Adult ELA classes
Take an English Language Acquisition placement test for the FREE English classes. Our FALL session will begin on Monday, August 19. NO CHILDREN ARE ALLOWED during testing.

Marquardt Elementary School District 15 serves 2,550 students in the communities of Glendale Heights, Addison, Bloomingdale, Lombard, and Glen Ellyn, Illinois. Our District is home to Black Hawk Elementary School (K-5), G. Stanley Hall Elementary School (K-5), Charles G.
