January is School Board Recognition Month
At the January 17th School Board meeting, the district and campuses celebrated the school board with words of gratitude, a special "Thank You" video, gifts from students, and special certificates of appreciation.

Jarrell ISD Citizen of the Month
New this year, the district will recognize a citizen at monthly school board meetings. The citizen demonstrates leadership in our community and fosters a connection with our district and students.
Our first Jarrell ISD Citizen of the Month recipient is Susan Gregurek, Director of the Jarrell Community Library and Resource Center. Susan has been instrumental in supporting our students by offering tutoring programs, STEM summer camps, ELL classes, high school art classes, projects for the library, and more community-focused events that teach our students in various ways. Thank you, Susan.

2024 - 25 Academic Calendar
The Board of Trustees approved the 2024 - 25 Academic Calendar. Parents, students, staff, and the community voted on three different options for the calendar. Ultimately, the calendar with the most votes was Option 1, which the board unanimously passed. To download the calendar, click below.
Jarrell Education Foundation
Thank you to the Sun City Computer Club. They donated $1,000 to the Jarrell Education Foundation. JEF awards grants to promote educational excellence and fund imaginative and progressive teaching initiatives that promote student achievement.
