MPVA Weekly Update

Happy Sunday Greyhound Family,

We've made it to Homecoming Week! We so look forward to your presence at the game in support of our Greyhounds, and our students participating in the various activities delivered by Red Ribbon Week, as they become one in celebration! Outside of these two major events, see below the updates and reminders to close out the month of October, while ushering us into the month of giving and thanks! Last but not least, thank you to all who joined in the celebration of National Principal's Month this month. I've truly appreciated the tokens of love shared each and every day!

Cool Brains Author Visit with Christina Soontornvat: Sunday, November 10th at 3pm

Inprint Cool Brains presents three-time Newbery Honoree author Christina Soontornvat with her new book, The Squad! The first 100 families will receive a free autographed copy of The Squad. This event is free and open to the public. Bring your family and friends! Click here for more information.

The MPVA Advanced Theatre Class is proud to present the play "The Price" on Monday, November 4th at 6:30PM. Tickets are $3. Reserve your seats at mpvatheatre.ludus.com. This is a preview of the Advanced Class's upcoming performance at the UIL One Act Play Competition on Saturday, November 9th at MPVA.

"The Price" by Don Zolidis is based on “The Story of a Mother” by Hans Christian Andersen, and features a moving story (that may make moms cry!) and beautiful costumes, set design, lighting, and sound.

There is a $75 registration fee, This year’s rate is a $180 flat fee per month that includes both morning and after care.
