Newsletter Update May 10th
Randolph Elementary School
From the Principals' Desks
What a great week we had celebrating all of the staff that teach our students. Every adult in our building is a teacher and we appreciate them all!! Thank you to the many parents that sent in items to share with our faculty; the community support this week was amazing. I wanted to also thank our PTO parents, community members that donated items, and the families that participated in the raffle, which raised so much money to support the funding of teacher appreciation week.
As we move into our busy end of year time, please be sure to get your background checks completed if you would like to attend one of the field trips. Give yourself enough time to get through the entire background check. It is best to give at least two weeks for the fingerprinting to come back to us. The fingerprinting and background check is good for one full year; so, if you did the process last spring, it may be expired.
Yours Warmly,
Melinda Robinson and Mindybeth Pike

Randolph Singers
I got a sneak peak of the Randolph Singers, including students from RES, at their rehearsal on Saturday. I'm sure their concert on May 5th was enjoyed by the whole community!
Literacy time in 2nd Grade
Literacy takes many forms in all of our grades. Enjoy some pictures of literacy in our 2nd grade group.
Walk/Bike Survey
The Town of Randolph is beginning to work on a Walking and Bicycling Master Plan. The Town
is partnering with the local Walk+Bike+Roll Randolph group and the Two Rivers-Ottauquechee
Regional Commission. The project committee is launching a Walking and Biking Survey. This
survey will collect information from residents and visitors about their experiences walking and
biking in Downtown Randolph, Randolph Center, and East Randolph. This survey will help the
Town assess the current conditions and issues that pedestrians and bicyclists encounter. The
survey responses will help shape the priorities of the Townβs Walking and Bicycling Master Plan.
If you ever walk or bike in Randolph, please fill out our survey link below.
